Be sure to check wind conditions before teeing up. The
bunkers in the center of the fairway can be carried in
a downwind situation, leaving you with a short-iron
approach. However, if you're hitting into the wind,
elect for a shorter club off the tee to lay up shy of
those fairway bunkers.
